ISESE 2006 is part of, and co–located with

The 2006 Experimental Software Engineering International Week (ESEIW 2006)

 

The objective the International Symposium on Empirical Software Engineering is to foster collaboration by providing a forum where researchers and practitioners can report and discuss research results and practical experiences in the area of empirical and experimental software engineering.

This symposium was previously held in Nara – Japan, Rome – Italy, Redondo Beach – USA and Noosa Heads – Australia. In 2006, it will be held for the first time in Latin America, more specifically Rio de Janeiro - Brazil, at the Everest Rio Hotel in the sophisticated district of Ipanema.

ISESE encourages the exchange of ideas within the international community so as to be able to understand, from an empirical viewpoint, the strengths and weaknesses of technology in use and new technologies, with the expectation of furthering the more generic field of software engineering.
