ICPR-AMERICAS:

The International Conference of Production Research, ICPR- Americas 2016 aims at exchanging experiences and encouraging collaborative work among American researchers and practitioners from the Northern, Central, Southern and the Caribbean regions of the continent. The conference also aims at planning and organizing the activities of the Americas Region of the International Foundation of Production Research for the growth of the discipline especially among young researchers. The Conference venue will take place at the campus of the Pontifical Catholic University of Valparaíso (PUCV) located at the heart of the world heritage city of Valparaíso (Chile). 

 

The conference will include two types of activities. 

•   Presentation of papers in the area of Production Research. 

 

•   Roundtable discussions on the main theme of the Conference: New Challenges for Engineering in the Production 4.0 era. Contributing papers focusing on this theme are particularly encouraged.
