Apresentação: O curso de Trabalho Cooperativo Suportado por Computador foi oferecido pela primeira vez em 1989. É um curso de pós-graduação, tendo como público alvo os alunos de mestrado e doutorado da COPPE Sistemas (PESC), da linha de Banco de Dados. O curso está aberto a quaisquer alunos da comunidade que queiram acompanhá-lo.
Objetivos: Este curso visa proporcionar uma introdução e visão geral do tema de Trabalho Cooperativo Suportado por Computador (CSCW), incluindo as principais questões, técnicas, princípios e ferramentas. Através da leitura e discussão de artigos científicos e desenvolvimento de monografias de final de curso, os alunos têm a oportunidade de se familiarizar com o assunto e estudar um tópico em maior detalhe.
Formato:
o curso é um conjunto de seminários, dados pelos alunos. O intuito principal é
que haja uma apresentação e discussão dos assuntos apresentados. Os alunos,
ficam responsáveis pela apresentação e discussão dos artigos.
Os
outros alunos devem ler a bibliografia determinada anteriormente à aula,
participar das discussões e preparar um resumo dos artigos em discussão. Os
resumos serão postados na Comunidade CSCW 2008 no GCC COPPE http://gcc.cos.ufrj.br/coppe/. O aluno
que apresentou o artigo ´não precisará postar o resumo, mas postará sua
apresentação .ppt.
Cada
aluno desenvolverá também uma monografia relacionada à Trabalho Cooperativo
Suportado por Computador, com tema específico de sua escolha. Estas serão
apresentadas ao final do curso.
Alem
dos artigos e da Mongrafia cada aluno, organizado em grupo de 2 deverá
apresentar uma ferramenta de CSCW, préviamente acordada com o professor.
Monografia: cada aluno deverá realizar um trabalho de final de curso, escrevendo uma monografia sobre um assunto de sua escolha relacionado a CSCW. No meio do curso haverá uma prévia das monografias, para termos certeza de que os alunos estão caminhando na direção certa e podermos dar sugestões de encaminhamento. A monografia deverá ser um trabalho mais criativo, uma proposta, idéias ou mesmo pequenos protótipos e não só uma revisão de bibliografia. Estas deverão ser apresentadas ao final do período. Os que tiverem interesse poderão melhorar as monografias posteriormente para envio à congressos ou revistas técnicas. Para os alunos já com tema de tese, é interessante trabalhar um assunto relacionado a este.
As monografias deverão
ser formatadas usando o template da IEEE.
Avaliação: a avaliação se baseará nas apresentações
em aula, participação nas discussões e nas aulas, entrega dos resumos, levantamento
de questões e monografia final.
