The workshop will be accepting submissions of technical papers written in either English or Portuguese and which must not exceed 10 pages, according to the Brazilian Computer Society paper format (see http://www.sbc.org.br/sbc/eventos/templates.html for templates -- unfortunately, this page is only in Portuguese, but look at the words Latex, Open Office and Word, and you will find the correct link). All papers must be submitted using the JEMS conference system at https://submissoes.sbc.org.br/e-science2007 . Papers will be reviewed according to the following criteria: adequacy to the workshop scope, relevance, technical quality, clarity, and originality. Papers describing preliminary work and ongoing research are also eligible. Assessment of results is desirable but not a pre-condition for the submission of the paper. All papers must present related work.

Papers will be peer reviewed according to recommendations of the committee, and selected papers will be presented during the workshop and published on its proceedings.
