Professor Sulamita Klein has been nominated by the Brazilian National Council for Scientific and Technological Development - CNPq to be a member of the committee for the area of Computer Science - CACC, for the period

from October 1st 2018 till June 30th 2021. Professor Sula is a full professor of UFRJ, where she belongs to the Algorithms and Combinatorics group of PESC. She is a CNPq research fellow in Computer Science since 1995, and she is a FAPERJ "Cientista do Nosso Estado" fellow since 2007.

Congratulations to Professor Sula for receiving this distinction for a big responsability. The members are chosen periodically by the Brazilian National Council for Scientific and Technological Development, based on the opinion of the national scientific community. The committee aims to promote and to evaluate scientific and technological research and the formation of human resources for research in the country.
