The research area of Computer Architecture and Operating Systems prepares students for developing advanced research on parallel and distributed computing. The research group also develops interdisciplinary research in collaboration with academics from other scientific areas, towards the development of architectural innovations that are simple, secure, and energetically efficient for specific applications running on traditional and emerging computational environments.
