Mudanças no setor elétrico americano, sob a perspectiva econômica 

Dr. Dilek is an assistant professor at the Economics Department of the University of Nevada, Reno. She is an applied microeconomist who specializes in the economics of renewable energyresources particularly solar energy. Her area of interests includes the interconnection of economics, politics, and the regulatory landscape of renewable energy and distributed generation in the United States. Dr. Uz received her PhD from UC Berkeley in the field of Environmental and Resource conomics in May 2016.

 

Aplicações de técnicas computacionais para superação dos novos paradigmas 

Dr. Justin Zhan is the director of ILAB. He is a faculty member at Department of Computer Science, College of Engineering, University of Nevada, Las Vegas. His research interests include Big Data, Information Assurance, Social Computing, and Health Science. He is a steering chair of ASE/IEEE International Conference on Social Compung (SocialCom), ASE/IEEE International Conference on Privacy, Security, Risk and Trust (PASSAT), and ASE/IEEE International Conference on BioMedical Computing (BioMedCom). He is currently an editor-in-chief of International Journal of Privacy, Security and Integrity, International Journal of Social Computing and Cyber-Physical Systems, and managing editor of SCIENCE journal and HUMAN Journal.

 

Dr. Brendan Morris received the B.S. degree from the University of California, Berkeley, CA, USA, in 2002 and the Ph.D. degree from the University of California, San Diego, La Jolla, CA, USA, in 2010.He is currently an Assistant Professor of electrical and computer engineering and the Founding Director of the Real-Time Intelligent Systems Laboratory, University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV), NV, USA. He and his team researched on computationally efficient systems that utilize computer vision and machine intelligence for situational awareness and scene understanding. Dr. Morris serves as an Associate Editor for the IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) , the IEEE ITS Magazine, and the IEEE Robotics and Automation Letters.
