Engineer graduated from the ECI course nominated for the Nebula Science Fiction award
We would like to congratulate the engineer who graduated from the Computer and Information Engineering (ECI) course, class of 2012, Renan Bernardo, who was nominated for the Nebula Science Fiction award for the novelette "A Short Biography of a Conscious Chair", published in Samovar (2/23).
The Nebula award shares the honors of the most relevant award in the field of Science Fiction and Fantasy with the Hugo award. Among its awardees are Paul Anderson, Harlan Ellison, and all the SF masters.
Renan has Science Fiction publications in Portuguese, English, German, Italian and Japanese. He has already been nominated for the Utopian Award and is a recommended writer by Locus.
